Handy hints: Dogs are not very good at taking tablets.
If they won't swallow, then try one of the following techniques:
1) Crush the tablet into their normal night-time meal, and maybe add gravy or something tasty to enhance the taste. or
2) Coat the tablet in Vegemite or peanut butter and administer it directly before serving their evening meal.
And remember ... Relax, and make it a fun experience for your dog.
After swallowing, shower her or him with affection, rubs and treats.

It is normal for dogs to become a little "flushed" on their underside while this product works its magic.
That's why we prefer to administer it at bed-time, after they have been well-exercised, and around subsequent feeding time, when all they want to do is sleep.
Please note that Sentinel acts as a grwoth inhibitor, preventing fleas from multiplying on your dog.
It is possible for adult fleas to land on your dog and casue it bother, although they will not be bale ot multiply and cause total infestation.
If this happens, then we recommend Capstar as a fast-acting knock-out of the adult fleas - but you will probably find this unecessary if you are combining Sentinel with Advantix to doubly prtotect your dog.
If your dog really doesn't like ingesting tablets, then you might consider an alternative "spot-on" treatment.
We recommend either Revolution or Advocate - both very effective 3-in-1-treatments easily administered by application to the dog's skin around the top of the spine.
And for total protection against ticks and midges, use Advantix topical treatment mid-month.
