Chrome plated and gold plated show chains for dogs

We only recently started stocking these items in response to a request from a breeder who wanted good quality chains for her show dogs.
But we've found that we've had a number of unlikely purchasers buying the chains: they look great on tougher dogs, and we're particualrly proud of the dachshund and the staffie that sport them into the store and round Bondi Beach!

Choosing the right size of Check Chain for your Dog

It is vital that a check chain is properly fitted.

Check chains are sized by total length - including the rings.
For a good fit, the chain should be the circumference of the dog's neck plus 7.5 cm to 10 cm.
It should fit snugly with room to for two fingers to fit between the dog's neck and the chan.
Too big is better than too small.
Generally speaking, the check chain should go over the dog's head quite snuggly, because most dogs have a larger head than neck, which wil mean that it will be hard to slip off.
