Advantix The Effective Spot-On Flea and Tick Control for Dogs. Works against Sandflies and Mozzies too!
Designed specifically for dogs, Advantix harnesses a patented combination of two proven ingredients, Imidacloprid (from Advantage) and Permethrin, to protect your dog from ticks, fleas, mosquitoes and sandflies.
Advantix is the only spot-on product that not only kills ticks, but actually repels them. Repelled ticks drop off your dog before they have the chance to bite or attach.
Advantix repels and kills Paralysis Ticks. A single adult paralysis tick can paralyse and even kill your dog. Some of our customers have spent $thousands in vet bills to save their dogs from Paralysis Ticks after very brief sojourns not far up or down the coast from Metropolitan Sydney: Minimise the risk with Advantix!
Advantix repels and kills these deadly parasites. Advantix also repels and kills Brown Dog ticks - which can develop into an overwhelming problem in your dog’s surroundings, even in your house - as well as Bush ticks
Advantix kills fleas and flea larvae – fast! Advantix stops fleas from feeding within 3-5 minutes of contact. Within 12 hours of application, 98-100% of the fleas on your dog will be dead. Best of all, fleas don’t have to bite your dog to be affected!
Advantix repels and kills mosquitoes and sandflies Mosquitoes and sandflies are just as irritating to dogs as they are to people, especially around the ears and nose. Advantix will protect your dog from these painful insects. Advantix is easy to use – simply apply the pre-measured tube to the back of your dog’s neck (see directions for use for dogs over 25kg. From there, it spreads over your dog’s skin, protecting your dog from biting insects.

For dogs over 50 kg, apply 2 doses per application from the Blue pack, as per the instructions in the pack. Advantix is safe for use on pregnant and lactating bitches. Puppies may be treated with Advantix from 7 weeks of age. If puppies younger than 7 weeks require flea control, then they may be safely treated with Advantage for Dogs.
Advantix should NEVER be applied to Kittens or Cats, and you should not permit cats or kittens to have close contact with a recently treated dog. If you have a cat, you might consider using Advantage or Advocate together with a tick collar for your dog instead of Advantix.
For Maximum Protection against irritating and potentially dangerous parasites, we recommend that during the warm humid months you give your Dog both Advantix and Sentinel - one at the beginning of the month, the other in the middle of the month. That's been our policy with our own dogs, and they've never suffered from anything more than monentary botheration from inscets or parasites!
