Advantix
Effective Spot-On Flea and Tick Control for Dogs.

Works against Sandflies and Mozzies too!

Designed specifically for dogs, Advantix harnesses a patented combination of two proven ingredients,
Imidacloprid (from Advantage) and Permethrin, to protect your dog from ticks, fleas, mosquitoes and sandflies.

Advantix is the only spot-on product that not only kills ticks, but actually repels them.
Repelled ticks drop off your dog before they have the chance to bite or attach.

Advantix repels and kills Paralysis Ticks.
A single adult paralysis tick can paralyse and even kill your dog.
Some of our customers have spent $thousands in vet bills to save their dogs from Paralysis Ticks after very brief trips not far up or down the coast from Sydney: Minimise the risk with Advantix!

Advantix repels and kills these deadly parasites.
Advantix also repels and kills Brown Dog ticks - which can develop into an overwhelming problem in your dog’s surroundings, even in your house - as well as Bush ticks
Advantix kills fleas and flea larvae – fast!
Advantix stops fleas from feeding within 3-5 minutes of contact.
Within 12 hours of application, 98-100% of the fleas on your dog will be dead.
Best of all, fleas don’t have to bite your dog to be affected!

Advantix repels and kills mosquitoes and sandflies
Mosquitoes and sandflies are just as irritating to dogs as they are to people, especially around the ears and nose.  Advantix will protect your dog from these painful insects.

Advantix is easy to use – simply apply the pre-measured tube to the back of your dog’s neck (see directions for use for dogs over 25kg.
From there, it spreads over your dog’s skin, protecting your dog from biting insects.

Advantix is safe for use on pregnant and lactating bitches.
Puppies may be treated with Advantix from 7 weeks of age.
If puppies younger than 7 weeks require flea control, then they may be safely treated with
Advantage for Dogs.

Advantix should NEVER be applied to Kittens or Cats, and you should not permit cats or kittens to have close contact with a recently treated dog.
If you have a cat, you might consider using Frontline, or even better, Advantage or Advocate together with a tick collar for your dog instead of Advantix.

For Maximum Protection against irritating and potentially dangerous parasites,
we recommend that during the warm humid months you give your dog both Advantix and
Sentinel - one at the beginning of the month, the other in the middle of the month.
That's been our policy with our own dogs, and they've never suffered from anything more than momentary botheration from insects or parasites!

Advantix gives your dog effective relief that no other product on the market can:

Advantix repels and kills paralysis ticks Advantix repels and kills brown dog and bush ticks
Advantix kills fleas, and reduces flea allergy dermatitis
Advantix kills flea larvae
Advantix kills repels and kills mosquitoes and sandflies, which can be vicious in our hot humid NSW summer.
Advantix has a water resistant formulation.
Advantix can be used on puppies over 7 weeks old and on pregnant and lactating bitches ...
But NEVER on cats or kittens (Advantage is more suitable in these cases).

Title : Advantix or Frontline?
Detailed Review : After moving to a new house a plague of fleas hit us, despite the continued use of Frontline on both dogs for some years. After changing to Advantix and not making any other changes to bedding or extra cleaning, the fleas were gone in a few weeks and have not returned. The previous owners had their dogs protected with Frontline so maybe the fleas had become immune to that product. Either way the dogs and us are now very happy and other owners might try this if Frontline is no longer working.
