What is CAPSTAR?
CAPSTAR provides dogs with rapid relief from fleas. It is a fast acting medication which kills fleas rapidly.

As CAPSTAR is a tablet and is given orally, no sticky or smelly residues will be left on your dog's coat. CAPSTAR can't be washed or groomed off like spot-ons and sprays.

How quickly does CAPSTAR work?
CAPSTAR works extremely fast. Adult fleas begin to die within only 30 minutes of administration. In 7 hours 100% of the adult fleas that were on your dog will be dead - leaving him/her flea-free and comfortable.

When do I use CAPSTAR?
You can use CAPSTAR on any day that fleas are bothering your dog.

Does CAPSTAR need to be given with food?
No. CAPSTAR can be given with or without food.

Does CAPSTAR provide long-term flea control?
No. For ongoing flea control which prevents flea eggs and larvae from developing, you should use a growth inhibitor such as new Sentinel Spectrum chews.
