The damage heartworms can cause

Heartworms (up to 30cm long in dogs) live in the heart and blood vessels of the lungs, interfering with circulation and damaging tissues.
This may eventually cause heart failure. Left untreated, this can result in the death of your dog.

Heartgrad Plus is for use in dogs to provide monthly treatment for control of heartworm, and it is also effective against roundworm and hookworm.

HEARTGARD PACK SIZES
6 Tablet Packs:
Blue - 68 mcg - for dogs up to 11 kg
Green - 136 mcg - for dogs up to 22 kg
Brown - 272 mcg - for dogs up to 45 kg.
For dogs over 45kg, administer more than one Heartgard Chew.

Dogs should  be tested by a veterinarian and be free of canine heartworm adults and microfilariae prior to the use of this product.
Subsequent routine testing is advisable.
